Tagline: The future is here. Trust a few. Fear the rest.
Mutants and Humans are living together but at the same time they fear each other. Most mutants are being bullied by humans and sometimes makes the young mutant fearing he/she isn't normal. Charles Xavier or Professor X, who has a heart for mutants (and is a mutant himself) runs a private academy for young mutants. Two mutants were added to their group Rogue and Logan a.k.a. Wolverine.
One of the comic adaptations that I really enjoy!! Even though this was just done during 2000. It can still be at par with the movies of 2010. It's a wonderful cinematic experience. Great effects and all that.
The actors played the character pretty well and I am very enthused Hugh Jackman is playing Wolverine. :)
The movie makes me wish I am a mutant myself. Haha.
Prof. Charles Francis Xavier: Mutation: it is the key to our evolution. It has enabled us to evolve from a single-celled organism into the dominant species on the planet. This process is slow, and normally taking thousands and thousands of years. But every few hundred millennia, evolution leaps forward.
Magneto: Does it ever wake you in the middle of the night? The feeling that one day they will pass that foolish law or one just like it, and come for you? And your children?
Prof. Charles: It does, indeed.
Magneto: What do you do, when you wake up to that?
Prof. Charles: I feel a great swell of pity for the poor fool who comes to that school... looking for trouble.
Magneto: [halts the game, sighs] Why do you come here, Charles?
Prof. Charles: Why do you ask questions to which you already know the answer?
Magneto: Ah, yes. Your continuing search for hope.
[motions to the guard to take Xavier away]
Magneto: You know this plastic prison of theirs won't hold me forever. The war is still coming, Charles. And I intend to fight it, by any means necessary.
Prof. Charles: And I will always be there, old friend.
