I AM - 2010

Category: Movie

Genre: Documentary

Director: Tom Shadyac

Producer: Flying Eye Productions, Homemade Canvas Productions, Shady Acres Entertainment

Stars: Tom Shadyac, Desmond Tutu, Lynne Mctaggart, Noam Chomsky

Tagline:  The Shift is about to hit the fan

With all the documentaries we saw, there is really nothing new to the concept Tom Shadyac is giving. However, this video is really great in a sense that it would really support those who are still waking up. Also, it shows his journey of seeking for the truth. What makes it even more interesting is that he is the man behind successful Hollywood Films, like Ace Ventura, Liar, Liar and more.

With his Hollywood Life and feeling empty and meaningless, he began searching for the truth after a biking accident. Going back to the essentials and thought of having a documentary with 2 Questions:

"What's Wrong with the World?" and "What can we do about it?"

Simple. Also very good film for the youth.

I like how he ended it.. :)

Celine: Taking Chances World Tour - 2009

Category: Music / Concert

Genre: Music

Artist: Celine Dion

It's a compilation-documentary of Celine Dion's, Taking Chances World Tour. This is her 9th concert tour.  (2008-2009)

I ENJOYED THE WHOLE THING. I WAS HOOKED.

Celine is sure one hell of a singer and she deserves the DIVA that she is now! She's also sweet and gentle and a great mom and lover! What more could you ask for? She is also sentimental and has a soft heart. (sounds redundant). Well, I like her. :)

Too bad, her voice was over-worked during the world tour and needs a one year rest from all of it. (But, I think she is back - this year.... or was it last year? )

Inside Job - 2010

Category: Documentary Movie

Genre: Economics

Directed By: Charles Ferguson

Written By: Charles Ferguson / Chad Beck

Narrated By: Matt Damon

Tagline: The global economic crisis of 2008 cost tens of millions of people their savings, their jobs, and their homes. This is how it happened

This documentary movie provides a comprehensive analysis of the global financial crisis of 2008,  caused millions of people to lose their jobs and homes in the worst recession since the Great Depression, and nearly resulted in a global financial collapse.

Through exhaustive research and extensive interviews with key financial insiders, politicians, journalists, and academics, the film traces the rise of a rogue industry which has corrupted politics, regulation, and academia. It was made on location in the United States, Iceland, England, France, Singapore, and China.(from IMDB)

I got intrigued... about this movie due to the outburst of the Occupy Wall Street which is currently spreading across the globe. However, is getting little or no media attention at all (because apparently, the mainstream media is controlled by the 1%).

Anyway, for the ordinary person who would watch this movie who is not familiar with global economic jargon or jibberish like moi... just read between the lines... and carefully watch the emotions of Wall Street players which I'm sure you would come to the conclusion that they have been eaten by the system... programmed to be heartless... its a bit sad... but well, there's hope.

How? By becoming aware and come up with a creative solution that will sustain the society. One that is win, win...

Ancient Aliens Season 1

Category: Documentary - TV Series

Genre: Extraterrestrial

TV Network: History Network

The Evidence, The Visitors, The Mission, Closer Encounters, The Return.

If ancient aliens visited Earth, what was their legacy, and did they leave behind clues that exist in plain sight such as sophisticated aircraft, complex electrical grids, and intricate construction machinery? Indian Sanskrit texts, dating back to 6000 B.C., describe in varying but vivid detail flying machines called Vimanas. Megalithic stone structures in Egypt reveal evidence of precision saw work. Interpretations of the Jewish Zohar writings offer depictions of a life-sustaining manna machine, eerily similar to chlorella algae processing systems today. Are these examples of modern technology, or is there evidence that these incredible mechanisms existed on Earth thousands of years ago? - from History

Mindboggling series. What seemed a taboo is becoming more and more not so tabboo..... Great great series. Which opens people to the possibilities of extraterrestrials. This would annoy the unbelievers and some would still contest that this is just sensationalized.

Well, we'll see. But, more and more people are watching this and talking about aliens isn't something people just brush it off aside anymore. Good thing, they made the series very interesting. And is really something that the teenagers enjoy watching... specially us adults. Oh and also kids. :)

For all ages. But definitely not to the conservatives... because most of the topics are also subject to debate... so yeah.

Remeber.... just listen to what you feel is true for you. :)
