"What the fuck have you done lately?"
Wesley Gibson (James McAvoy) is an accounts manager here who allows to be walked upon, ill-treated and brought low by the people around him specially his boss Janice. He tries to deal with his life and dull it out through the anti-anxiety pills he takes. He is a nobody and has no whatever tendency to change the way his life is until one day at the store where he frequently buys his pills he meets a beautiful woman, Fox (Angelina Jolie) who would mark the change of his life forever.
I like the crooked, sarcastic narration of James McAvoy which actually fits the movie. Morgan Freeman did his part well and of course there's Angelina Jolie who is looking hot and deadly a lethal combination which suits her pretty well. This movie is very fast and it catches me off guard almost every chance it gets. Violence you can expect plus the humor and sarcasm. Bloody and a bit gory for me. Action packed as well. With all those bending bullets, train scenes, bloody lessons, knife and gun works, and exploding peanut-buttered rats.
I also like the memorable lines you can get from this movie.
Oh and my birth date appeared as well. Ain't that cool??? Yay!
It was a fast ride with this one. If The Happening was slow and old fashioned... this one is the opposite, it is fast and very techie-cool.
