Little Quiapo - Quezon City
Category: Restaurant
Location: Quezon City, Philippines
I ate there last August 2007 and it was for dinner.
This is a quaint little restaurant in Q.C. And it is not Little Quiapo for nothing. This place offers the best halo-halo and palabok in town.
Last April 18, 2008 we were invited by a good family friend of ours (my mom and I) to eat there.

27 Dresses - 2008
Category: Movie
Genre: Comedy / Romance / Chick Flick
Director: Anne Fletcher
Writer: Aline Brosh Mckenna
Producer: Fox 2000 Pictures, Spyglass Entertainment
Tagline: This January, always a bridesmaid, never a bride.
Cast: Katherine Heigl, James Marsden, Brian Kerwin, Michael Ziegfield, Edward Burns, Malin Akerman
Jane(Katherine Heigl) is a career-oriented girl and is secretly in love with her employer, George(Edward Burns). She spends most of her time as a bridesmaid and can never say no to her friends, and has 27 dresses as evidence. She meets Kevin (James Marsden) a cynical writer who finds her attractive, and on the same week her younger sister Tess(Malin Akerman) re-enters her life and then falls in love with George.
Light and fun to watch. I just love watching wedding chick flicks. Hehe. :)
Funny quotes:
Kevin: [motions to a "Gone With the Wind"-style dress] What the hell is that?
Jane: Theme wedding.
Kevin: What was the theme? Humiliation?
Jane: You write the most beautiful things. Do you actually believe in love and marriage and just pretend to be a cynic or are you actually a cynic who knows how to spin romantic crap for girls like me?
Kevin: I didn't follow that at all, but I think the second one, the spinning crap one.
Jane: You're the one who's always telling me to stand up for myself.
Casey: Yeah, but that's not what you did. What you did was unleash twenty years of repressed feelings in one night. It was entertaining, don't get me wrong, but if it was the right thing to do, you'd feel better right now. Do you feel better right now?

Bangkok Dangerous - 2008
Category: Movie
Genre: Action / Thriller / Crime
Director: Oxide Pang Chun, Danny Pan (Pang Brothers)
Writers: Jason Richman, Oxide Pang Chun
Cast: Nicolas Cage, Shahkrit Yamnarm, Charlie Yeung, Panward Hemmanee
Tagline: There's only one way out.
Overview and Review of Bangkok Dangerous directed by the Pang Brothers
Joe is an American professional assassin who picks someone off the street to do his errands and to assist him with his word, and after he is finished with his job kills that person. His next assignment takes him to Bangkok, Thailand and he hires a local street kid named Kong to help him with the deed. Joe also meets a local girl who is deaf and spends time with her. However, Joe has a hard time keeping his other life from the girl. It also appears that the Mafia person who hired Joe, breaks his rule of complete anonymity and tries to find him. (from IMDB)
Is it just me or did anybody notice? the action stunts were great... but Nicholas with the girl was way too cheesy. Unexpected ending. -_-
