It's a very interesting remake of the story Romeo and Juliet. There are two neighboring gardens one of the Montague and Capulet who are currently at war, but the two gnomes, Gnomeo (voice of James McAvoy) and Juliet (voice of Emily Blunt) are in love. They both have many challenges to overcome as their parents are caught up in a family feud. Will they find lasting happiness?
It's a refreshing take of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet where imaginations grow wild when they used garden gnomes and garden decors. Definitely something for the kids and the young-at-heart. Entertaining and fun. It was fun to see the respectable actors on the line-up... yay! Hilarious as well!

Juliet: Oh, Gnomeo, Gnomeo, are we really doomed to never see each other again? Why must you wear a blue hat? Why couldn't it be red like my father, or green like... like a leprechaun... or purple like, ummm, like some weird guy - I mean what's in a gnome?
