This is a ghost story of a criminal psychiatrist named Miranda Grey (Halle Berry)  who wakes up as a patient in an asylum she is working for, with no memory of a murder she was accused of doing.

I used to wish to have my third eye activated. But, after seeing this I'm beginning to think... I should not. If I'm gonna see or feel things like the way she did here in this movie.

I was enthused to find out Robert Downey was in the movie. This gives me the heebie jeebies!! It's actually got a neat storyline and also scares the hell out of you at the right time without appearing too much of the gore. Just enough. It's a good combination of horror and a suspense/thriller film. :)

Very well-researched and you would have additional information and history to places he mentions. A dark, gruesome book and a lot of deaths surrounding the story. This is also a mix of some private eye mystery thriller and a bit of paranormal events. The last part gets better and it's not boring because it has humor interwoven in most parts. A disturbing because of all the ghosts and a brutal psychotic tale because of Caleb Kyle.

Overview and Review of the book entitled Seventh Heaven written by Alice Hoffman.

In this book, the author Alice Hoffman would take you to a suburban community and then explore what happens when a certain woman named Nora Silk comes to town with two kids named Billy and James with no father.

The community is the typical "conservative" community where everybody's pretty much doing the same thing. They all have identical houses and before the kids would get lost looking for their own home. If you are a first timer it would be hard to tell the houses apart.

Nora, on the other hand is one unique woman and caused the women in the community to talk about her and her nonexistent husband. And they all later figured out she was divorced. Just like a plague she was avoided by many and so is her son Billy. Billy gets bullied specially by his next door neighbor Stevie. Occasionally meeting and accidentally talking to Nora the people in the community begins to ask questions they never dared and ask and begin to find answers they never imagined.....

Alice sure is one great dreamy, storyteller with intriguing characters built in the story. She gives you lots of surprises along the way and every corner. A sparkling, entertaining end with a dazzling mix of ghosts, witchcraft and superstitions.

I was always curious as to how Mary Higgins Clark writes. Finally, I got the chance to read one of her book that has lots of different stories written by her.

The Anastasia Syndrome - 3 and a half

The title refers to a drug used to regress a certain person back to history. A story that transported me to old English history with King Charles I and King Charles II because it involves a woman named Judith Chase who is a historical writer. Judith Chase was an orphan during World War II. Part of writing English History was the plan of tracing back her origins/roots. In one social gathering, she met a Doctor who was deemed a charlatan by the many because of his discovery of the "Anastasia Syndrome".

Very nicely written, and what a twist. She builds your tension right from the beginning to the end. No happy-endings with her though.

Lucky Day - 4

A man named Bill was telling everybody he met that he was feeling lucky. During that lucky day he was found dead during a cold wet night at a park. Nora one of the person Bill loves to gab with felt sorry for the old man and was determined to find out about his death.

Even though the story is short, it is still filled with suspense. It also managed to be mysterious up until the end. An ending I wasn't expecting. Nice twist but sad.

Double Vision - 2 and a half

This is about a frustrated psychotic actor named Jimmy who is out to get Caroline who he believes to have spoiled his acting career and at the same time calling her his "jinx".

Not one of her best but equally entertaining.

The Lost Angel - 2 and a half

This story tells of a lost girl named Jamie and was found posing for a magazine as an angel.

Sweet story and it did not lack the thrill. Sweet ending.

This is the third part after The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003) and The Dead Man’s Chest (2006).

I love this one because it’s a Disney production and and and… it’s a Jerry Bruckheimer film! Muwahaha. As if it makes sense.

On a serious note.. I love the movie from beginning till the end. [ Although, I still think Part II, Dead Man’s Chest is funnier ]

I kinda like the sad beginning where the kid who was about to be executed sang a song known by pirates titled Hoist the Colours and then it lead to Elizabeth Swann (Keira Knightley) singing the same song while rowing at a canal in Singapore to meet up with other pirate’s as well. The first part was to bring Jack Sparrow back from Davy Jone’s Locker which is not easy to bring back unlike Captain Barbossa since both his body and soul was taken with him.

There are a lot of interesting characters in this movie as well since the world’s pirates gathered for a meeting of their brotherhood known as the Brethren Court, that consisted of nine (Sao Feng, Barbossa, Jack, and other pirates of different races African, Arab and Indian) pirate lords. Jack’s father who is/was King of the Brethren Court made his appearance at the meeting as well, and he sure acts funny like Jack.. now you know where Jack got his attitude. Muwahaha.

Whenever Jack Sparrow is around so much trickery is involved…. and it’s quite evident that pirates rarely trusts anyone and if they do they have an agreement where both of them gets something in the end. Even though, they’ve had good bonds with fighting they can still trick each other over something which I’ve come to known as a pirate trait they all have inside them. Although, there are a couple of loyalists and that would be the crew who can stick with you for some time but not the captains.

The same funny crew of the Black Pearl is present, like Pintel and Ragetti [ the one with the wooden eye ] who both acted as a comic relief during the movie’s more intense scenes and they were known to provide storyline information. Without them, Pirates of the Carribean would beee boring! I also like the monkey and the parrot… great acting mumuy [an endearment for monkey!]!

I found the proposing and getting married of Will (Orlando Bloom) and Elizabeth [ Keira Knightley ] while fighting the enemies really unique.

All in all the movie was great and ended just fine even though it was a bit hanging in the end.. hay but nevertheless the whole of it was pretty good.

It’s about two vampires named Jessica and Gabri who are both thirsty for blood - nectar as they call it. The two of them are so arrogant that they decided to have a bet and the two of them are determined to win.

It’s my first time to read a “Super Chiller” and it is indeed a chiller because the ending is not the usual ordinary Fear Street Series where everything seems to be alright.

Another fast read.

Recommended for: Teens ages 13-16.

OVERVIEW and SUMMARY of The Eye 10 Infinity

Though it has a number “10″ in it at the title.. it doesn’t mean that it has something to do with it’s chronology.

The ten there refers to the book entitled “The Ten Encounters”.

It’s a story about teenagers who visited their friend Chongkwai in Thailand. Originally those teenagers are from Hong Kong.While touring the place they passed by an accident and when they returned back to their friend’s home they decided to tell each other ghost stories. Chongkwai has a book ” the ten encounters ” which he bought and he will share a very funny story relating how he bought the book and theres also a text message about it being passed around here. The book details how to see dead people. The five were all curious about it and they wanna try all the 10 different methods.

I wont say more… since it would spoil the whole movie.

If you are looking for a “scream”, I tell you this is not the movie for you. This one is different from the other two “The Eye” movies and veryyyy funny, like when there are times when you’d think you would be scared and then a comic scene would interrupt.

A class from Japan were on a graduation travel to Korea. One night most of the class were in a cabin telling horror stories and then one of them received a call. The girl who got it said it wasn’t her ringtone but it was her phone ringing so she picked it up. The voicemail message said “good-for-nothing” and it was her voice on the other line. Her friend checked her phone when she hanged up and they claimed she called herself.. and they said it was weird. She then received an MMS with a girl who was hanged.

The next day they went out to tour the city and the girl who got the first call was lost. She tried to phone someone and said “good-for-nothing” when she can’t make the call. She was shocked when she heard herself saying those words because that’s what she got last night. Go figure it out guys she was killed and ended up hanging.

After three deaths and those three all got the mysterious voicemessage and an sms that says “Death excemption by forwarding” and sometimes accompanied by a picture or a video… the whole class got freaked out. They freak when the phone rings which has one distinctive tone.

Typical Japanese horror film that would confuse you in the beginning and would leave you wondering in the end.

A Cabot book is a fun read and a fast one at that. You can finish half day…. minus the work. Maybe 3 hours tops.. you’d be done and over with the book.

The good humor nature of the book, the not-so-big-words she use helps how fast you can read a Cabot book.

This is the first of the Mediator series I bought and read… (I actually did not know it was a series after I read it. Why on earth would I buy the #4 if it’s a series? rawr) Anyway, it’s fun… now I want to read the rest of Cabot’s Mediator series.

Fun Fun Fun plus ghosts… yay.
